Each month, we select a salesperson who meets (or surpasses) customer expectations. Our Salesman of the Month for May 2018 is Chris Klein; get to know him!

Sales manager Jason Hutslar says that Chris was chosen as Salesman of the Month because he is a consistent force on the Eide Chrysler team.

"Chris has been doing this for years, and he works hard," Jason says. "He comes in, does his job, and doesn't ask to be recognized."

Q: How long have you been at the dealership?
 
I was here before Eide bought the dealership, so it will be seven years in October 2018.
 
Q: What does a typical workday look like for you?
 
I want to make the most of my time in the store, so if I'm not busy with new customers I spend time reaching out to customers who have already purchased or are looking to buy to see if I can help them further.
 
It's important to listen to customers and take care of their needs, and I make sure that if I have sold a vehicle, everything is handled well and that I follow-up with the customer.
 
Q: What is the most rewarding part of your job? 
 
 I like meeting all the different people and earning their trust – that's really fun. 
 
Q: What is something you like to educate customers about when they're looking for a new vehicle?
 
I like showing off what the new vehicles can do, especially to people who don't buy brand new very often. It's fun to see their reactions.
 
Q: What do you drive and what's your dream vehicle?
 
I drive a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude, and my dream vehicle is the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. 
 
Q: What do you do in your free time? 
 
I enjoy mountain biking and cooking, and in the summertime I spend time being active outdoors.
 
Q: Why is Eide Chrysler a great place to do business? 
 
It's centered around the customer experience. I've always said that we have the smartest guys in the business here – the brightest minds and hardest working folks in the upper midwest, and it pays off.
