Which truck should I buy?
You've probably asked yourself that question a time or two — and with our current offers during RAM Power Days, you may be pondering this again now!
The RAM 1500 is the 2019 MotorTrend Truck of the Year, so that's the obvious starting point in choosing your new four-wheeled best friend. But even within the world of RAM, you've got a lot of options.
We'll help you narrow things down a bit further by taking a look at our best offers in Bismarck during RAM Power Days. After all, we want you to find the best RAM truck for you.
You've definitely seen this truck around Bismarck — it's one of our most popular models! So, what's the deal? Why do so many North Dakota drivers choose the RAM 1500 Big Horn?
"This is the #1 selling RAM truck because it's a good middle of the road option," says Don Pask, Sales Manager. "We equip them here in Bismarck with a variety of different options — anywhere from heated seats to a heated steering wheel or a bigger screen with the backup camera. It's a pretty well equipped truck at a very good price point."
If you're considering a Big Horn, don't fall asleep on our RAM Power Days offer.
"We have it down to $329/mo.," Don says. "It has the 5.7 HEMI, the four-wheel drive system, and it's the MotorTrend Truck of the Year. I don't think we've been down to this price all year on this truck. It's a strong offer."
If you were around in the 70's, you may remember the original Dodge Warlock Macho Power Wagon — a fun truck with fancy gold wheels, snazzy pinstripes, and wood bed rails. The Warlock stood out from the crowd then, and it's back to do it again in the 21st century.
Well, kind of! The Warlock returns in name as the RAM 1500 Classic Warlock, without the iconic features of decades past but with several tricks of its own.
The new Warlock is built on the RAM 1500 chassis and sports the RAM 1500 Rebel's grille. It has black aluminum wheels, powder-coated bumpers, a one-inch factory lift, and is adorned with Warlock decals.
"The Warlock has obviously been brought back and it has a great name on it," Don says. "We've had them for about six weeks and they've been popular. It looks very similar to the Rebel with less equipment on the inside. It's a great looking truck at an extremely affordable rate."
If you want to stand out from the other North Dakota pickup drivers sporting the typical chrome look, you'll like the Warlock, as the entire body has had a monochromatic glow-up. Customize it further by opting for the available sport hood or choosing from one of ten colors.
Let's talk power. You'll find the same powertrain options here as on the rest of the RAM 1500 lineup, with either a 3.6-liter V6 or 5.7-liter Hemi V8. The Warlock is available in either two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
"If you want an extremely affordable truck payment with a great look, the RAM 1500 Classic Warlock is the way to go."
Maybe you need a truck with all-road, all-weather capability while feeling extremely comfortable in the cab. Get behind the wheel of the RAM 1500 Rebel.
The Rebel offers two equipment groups that cover various infotainment and feature upgrades, and of course, the off-road features come standard on this model.
Like the rest of the RAM lineup, the Rebel has a 3.6-Liter V6 eTorque Engine with the optional 5.7-Liter V8 Hemi upgrade.
Don says that this trim level is popular with North Dakota drivers who like a touch of luxury.
"With the Rebel, you'll get into a full crew cab, with more of a rugged wheel and tire on it," he says. "It has a pretty unique interior with it and more finish and color options. The RAM 1500 Rebel has a more aggressive stance with additional options that the luxury customer is looking for."
"We have a great selection right now on 2019 Heavy Duty models between trim levels — between the Tradesman to the Laramie. These are massive savings going on right now," Don says.
When shopping for a new RAM, Bismarck drivers have many factors to consider when deciding on trim level.
Don says that first, all customers should understand what they will use the vehicle for and what they need in their day-to-day life.
"If you need something off-road, the Rebel is a great option. If you're an everyday driver needing to get around town and have fun on the weekends, go with the Big Horn or Laramie. Choose the Laramie if you want more tech and luxury, or get the best of both worlds with a more affordable option in the Big Horn."
