Is It Powerful? 

The Jeep Wrangler 4xe can get up to 60 mph in six seconds with 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Yeah, it’s powerful. 

What Does Charging Look Like?

Every 4xe is delivered with a Level I (120 V) charging system that plugs into any typical household outlet. 

This level of battery will take up to twelve hours to charge your vehicle fully, but it is fine to only partially charge the battery. This SUV has special software that manages battery usage, and you can schedule charging to be only at night when electric utility charges are generally less expensive. 

Another charging option would be to upgrade to the Level II battery. This can be installed by a licensed and vetted professional easily after consultation. The advantage of this battery would be the faster charging time — your Wrangler 4xe would be charged in just two hours with the Level II.

You Choose the Drive

Hybrid mode: This is the default mode and combines torque from both the turbocharged engine and the electric motors. Hybrid mode allows for maximum horsepower, instant torque, and the best acceleration. Electric power is consumed first.

Electric mode: This is for when your battery is charged over 1% and you want to drive electric only. You’ll see almost no tailpipe emissions while being able to hit highway speeds for up to 21 miles on this mode.

Esave mode: This last mode uses your 2.0L engine first and saves the battery charge for later. When power demand is low, the engine shuts off. It can also be reconfigured to increase the battery charge as well.
