October Employee and Salesman of the Month: Jason Hutslar

For the first time between both Eide Chrysler and Eide Ford, an employee has received both the Employee of the Month and Salesman of the Month awards during the same month! 

Jason Hutslar goes above and beyond each day to ensure a great customer experience. That's why we're honoring him with this award and proud to have him as part of our team.

Our customers are the most important part of the Eide Chrysler family, and we trust our entire team to take great care of each and every customer looking for a new vehicle in Bismarck. 

Jesse Schuchard, General Sales Manager, says that Jason goes above and beyond when interacting with customers. 

"We chose Jason as salesman of the month because he not only sold 23 vehicles, but maintained 100% customer satisfaction during October."

Jesse says that Jason won the Employee of the Month award as well for always doing more than what his job role entails.

Jason has been at the store here in Bismarck for three years. He recently started doing some work in the internet management role and did quite a bit to help increase sales in that department.

Congratulations, Jason! Get to know a little bit more about him below. 


Q: What important things have you learned about creating relationships with customers?

JASON: It’s all about the relationship. It’s not even about selling cars -- it’s about building relationships. I’m not here to sell you a car, I’m here to find you the right one.  

Q: What keeps you motivated and excited about coming to work each day

JASON: The company and the look on the customer's face when they get their new vehicle.

Q: What’s your day-to-day look like at work?

JASON: I’m in at about 7:30am preparing reports, followed by a morning meeting and follow-up with the sales staff. Then I do follow-up phone calls and greet and help customers. I’m here usually until at least 6:30pm.      

Q: What’s something that you like to educate customers on when they come in looking for a new vehicle?

JASON: Nowdays with the internet, customers can easily pick out vehicles. It's all about making sure that that is the RIGHT vehicle for them. About 70% of customers come in with a vehicle in mind and end up purchasing something different. It’s important to find their wants and needs and not let them settle for something else, just because that's what they thought they wanted.

Q: What's something fun you recently did with your family? 

JASON: We camp a lot -- we go to the lake and camp almost every weekend during the summer. Now we’re doing house remodeling!     

Q: What's your dream vehicle?

JASON: A '97 Plymouth Prowler

Q: Is there anyone you'd like to thank for these awards?

JASON: God, my family, and my management team here -- all the way up to the owners.
