Meet Eide Chrysler’s New General Sales Manager, Billy Ericksen!

One thing the Eide organization prides itself on is promoting from within. We believe in helping our employees grow and develop their skills so that they can not only grow personally, but also professionally. 

Billy Ericksen is one of our most recent employees to move on up as he has been promoted to Eide Chrysler’s General Sales Manager!

Meet Billy

Billy has been with us since the start of Eide Chrysler in 2017, but has also been working in this building since 1999. 

He started out in sales, and through the years has been moving his way up through finance and different sales managers positions, to where he is now as GSM. 

In his free time, Billy likes to work in his yard, play with his dogs, and spend time with his wife, friends and family. 

Billy is a perfect example of not only how Eide seeks to promote from within, but also of what a good leader looks like. 

A Great Leader

A few qualities that a leader possesses is empathy, gratitude, and humility, and Billy encompasses these qualities, as well as a whole lot more. 

“Billy is an amazing leader, especially for Eide Chrysler,” says Jeremy Johnson, one of our Business Managers. “He is always showing the way for his team and leading by example. Not only does he encourage teamwork, he also is a big team player himself, and all who work with him trust him. He is a big reason I am still here, and for that I am extremely grateful.”

It is amazing to see what an impact Billy has had on those he works with throughout the years, and that definitely isn’t going to end anytime soon. 

“Billy is someone I really look up to,” says one of our Sales Consultants, Chase Backer. “He has always been a great leader, and has been doing great things for Eide. He definitely leads our sales department in the right direction, and I am excited to see what he will do for this organization, and I am glad that I get to be a part of his team.”

Creating A Healthy Work Environment 

Not everyone can wake up each morning and be excited about going to work, but it’s a different story with Billy.

“Everyday is a new day,” he says. “You never know what new challenges a day will bring, but we are always able to find new and creative solutions to every situation. It helps our team to work together and grow, and it is so fun to watch and be a part of.”

Having been a sales manager since 2003, he has been able to work with many different people, and it is something Billy enjoys. “I love being able to meet and work with our customers, as well as all of the different departments within our store.”

Not only has Billy made an impact on his sales team, he also is looked up to as a leader by other leaders within our company. Justin Harmon, our Marketing Director, is always excited to work with Billy, and is thrilled to see Billy in this new leadership position: “I have always respected and admired Billy as a leader at Eide Chrysler, and I am very happy and excited to see him be promoted to General Sales Manager.”

The impact that Billy has made on those around him, both professionally and personally, is both amazing and inspiring. 

“Billy creates a good environment that we want to work in, and that customers want to be a part of,” says one of our Sales Consultants, Jorden Werner. “He brings a lot of accountability and structure to our team, but he also is our biggest supporter, and wants us to succeed. He has helped make our team feel like a family, by always being there for us and showing that he cares about our lives outside of the dealership.”

“We are very excited for this new opportunity for Billy,” says Don Pask, General Manager of Eide Chrysler. “We think he is going to overwhelmingly succeed in his new position. He has spent many years working inside of this building and he has great relationships with both our staff and our customers. In the last few weeks with Billy and his new position, it's been great. We’re already seeing his leadership make a positive impact on our dealership.”
