Eide Chrysler's March Employee of the Month: Nicole Bicanic

Aside from the weather, it's been a great 2018 so far here at Eide Chrysler, and as always, our entire team is focused on providing exceptional service to our Bismarck-Mandan customers. 

Our March 2018 Employee of the Month is Eide Chrysler's title clerk, Nicole Bicanic. 

Eva Carlstad, the office manager at Eide Chrysler, nominated Nicole for the Employee of the Month award because of her work ethic and her friendly attitude. 

"When she came into her role, we trained her and she just took hold and took off running," said Eva. "She's done a fabulous job and I think she deserves the recognition."

Eva also appreciate's Nicole's attention to detail and her positive attitude. 

"She always has a smile on her face, and she strives to get things done the way they're supposed to get done," noted Eva. "If she doesn't know the answer, she reaches out and finds it. She fits in really well here and I feel [the award] was well deserved for her."

Eide Chrysler's Employee of the Month for March 2018

Q: How long have you been at the dealership?
I started in March, so it's only been about a month-and-a-half. 
Q: What does a typical workday look like for you?
My main responsibility is to go through all of the purchases here and process the title work and the documentation that goes along with it. I make sure we get all the proper signatures and send the registration paperwork off to the DMV for our customers. I'm also following up with customers to make sure we have everything we need to properly register their new vehicles.
Q: What is the most rewarding part of your job? 
Knowing that we get the customer taken care of from beginning to end. We make sure we finalize the process and get things off to a good start. 
Q: What is the most common question you answer in your role?
The most common question I get from customers is 'When am I going to get my registration?' and my answer is almost always 'As soon as the DMV can process it.' I send the paperwork to the DMV and then they process it from there, so it really depends on how backed up they are.
Q: You worked in automotive finance before coming to Eide Chrysler. How has that experience helped you?
Before coming here, I was a loan processor and also worked in titling for the bank, so it was a natural transition for me. It's basically the flip-side of everything I had been doing there. Before the bank, I also worked in billing and insurance for [a local hospital], so I have a lot of good experience in processing forms and keeping things organized.
Q: What do you drive?
I have a Dodge Grand Caravan, which we actually purchased at this same dealership before it became Eide Chrysler. It's great for my family. 
Q: What do you do in your free time? 
My husband and I have three kids: nine, six, and four, so they keep us busy. We like to go deer, pheasant, and goose hunting in the Fall, and go for family vacations in the summer. We also do a lot of fishing and camping. Our favorite place would be Medora. 
Q: Why is Eide Chrysler a great place to do business? 
I would say efficiency. I don't know how it is in other dealerships, but our crew here stays on top of tasks. We provide the best customer service possible – getting all the paperwork processed and passed through.
