Eide Dealerships Participate in Giving Hearts Day in Bismarck

Eide Chrysler and Eide Ford were proud to participate in Giving Hearts Day 2021 to support The Bismarck Public Schools Foundation. 

“We see the importance of work that is being done with the BPS and how their efforts make our community a better place,” said Jesse Peterson, President and General Manager of Eide Chrysler here in Bismarck. 

That’s why Eide committed $8,000 in matching funds to support Giving Hearts Day 2021 fundraising. All funds raised went to support the BPS Foundation Family Assistance Fund.

Altogether, the campaign raised $16,273 during Giving Hearts Day 2021!

The BPS Family Assistance Fund

Traditionally, the Family Assistance Fund has focused on providing basic needs to struggling students and their families, such as utility or repair bills. The program is expanding, looking to meet other basic needs for families, such as hygiene items, household cleaning items, pantry items and clothing needs.  

The enhanced program will give Bismarck Public Schools a centralized resource for helping families. It also allows BPS teachers the ability to focus on empowering students to learn and thrive, supporting students’ success both inside and outside the classroom.
