“Tim Lickteig is the most loyal and dedicated employee in the Eide organization."
That's a strong statement, and it comes right from General Manager Jesse Peterson. Jesse says that the Eide company has been very lucky to have Tim on the team for the past 18 years, and that he meets the challenges of new roles and projects each time.
"Most recently, the Chrysler store had to undergo an evaluation from Chrysler to make sure our people, processes, and facility met Chrysler standards," Jesse says. "We put Tim in charge of making sure we passed this evaluation. This was not an easy assignment."
Jesse says that Tim worked very hard to ensure Eide Chrysler was compliant and he discovered a number of areas for improving our customer service processes.
"I am very grateful to have Tim working for our company," Jesse says.
Congratulations, and thanks for all your hard work over the years, Tim.

Corporate Trainer
Eide Chrysler's Employee of the Month for September 2018
Q: How long have you been at the dealership?
It's my 19th year with Eide. I was at Eide Ford for many years and then came here as sales manager when Eide Chrysler opened. I'm now the corporate trainer for Eide.
Q: What does a typical workday look like for you?
As corporate trainer, I travel from store-to-store training all of the sales staff and new hires, and I facilitate ongoing training for anyone on the team needing assistance with our processes.
Q: What is your favorite part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is to watch a salesman or saleswoman go from the lower level to the middle level and seeing his or her confidence boost as they get to the highest level.
Q: What do you drive and what's your dream vehicle?
Q: Why do North Dakotans buy vehicles from Eide Chrysler?
Customers don't want to be at a dealership for five or six hours. They want a time-saving event and want people to be straight with them.
Our whole approach is based on a fair price right up front, and customers don't have to play the negotiation game.
Tim and his wife are currently in the process of moving to Flagstaff, AZ, where he will continue to be an important part of the Eide team from afar. When he's not training staff, he's busy chasing his six grandchildren.
He extends a thank you to the entire Eide team.
Looking for a new vehicle? Our Eide Chrysler team is always ready to help.
