As we dive into the autumn season here in Bismarck, we’re celebrating another Eide Chrysler Employee of the Month!
In just over one year with Eide Chrysler, Yvonne Lindquist has earned a great reputation as a reliable teammate in our accounting department, where she handles incoming payments. She’s a valuable member of the Eide team, and another example of what makes Eide Chrysler great.
“Yvonne has went over and above anything I’ve asked of her,” said Office Manager Eva Carlstad. “Our department recently had someone go out on maternity leave, and we also hired a new accounts payable clerk, and Yvonne stepped up to help us fill in and do the training. She just dives in and helps.”

Q: How long have you been on the Eide Chrysler team?
It was one year in September. It went fast! I’m surprised that it’s already been a year. I keep busy and when I have a spare moment I help out where I can. It’s a good team we have. We really help each other out.
Q: What does a typical day look like for you?
I’m in the accounts receivable role, which means I make sure the deposits get in the books every day, and make sure the book is balanced. When we get new vehicles on the lot, I enter the invoices so they can be sold. I also help with cashiering whenever it’s needed.
Q: What is the most challenging part of your job?
There aren’t really too many challenges. It’s just making sure that everything balances every day, and figuring out where the pennies are missing – if there are any missing.
Q: What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
The day goes so fast here. I’m just keeping busy. It’s never high-pressure. It’s a good place to work.
Q: How do you spend your free time?
My husband and I moved to Bismarck from Williston after he retired. We keep busy. We’re having our 40th anniversary next year. We bought a fixer-upper house in Bismarck and that’s been keeping us busy. We also have a cabin up at Lake Sakakawea, and we enjoy spending time up there too.
Q: What makes Eide Chrysler unique?
Since I’m on the receivable end of our bookwork, I think we do really have a good bookkeeping system. We also have a great service department. They’re nice and friendly. They care about the customers and always follow up if there’s a problem. I put Eide Chrysler way ahead of other dealerships in town. They’re more willing to help you and do whatever they can.
Also, our management team keeps everybody on track. It’s a good dealership. They don’t just tell you a line to sell you a car – they really seem concerned about their customers.
