Eide Chrysler Sponsors the 2019 Bismarck Chamber Mixer... Again!

For the third consecutive year, Eide Chrysler sponsored the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber Mixer, an annual event which celebrates the local business community and offers an evening of fun, prizes, and networking.

The 2019 Chamber Annual Mixer was Tuesday, December 10, with more than 500 community members in attendance.

Building a Connected Community

Brian Ritter is the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber EDC President, and says that this event couldn’t be successful without sponsors like Eide Chrysler — and successful it was!

“This is our version of a Christmas Open House for all our members. We have vendor booths, catering, entertainment, and this year we had a great performance by the Central Dakota Children’s Choir,” Brian says. “We had delicious food from the Walrus and Lady J’s Catering, and overall it was a great night.”

Brian says that community members who don’t attend Chamber EDC events truly miss out on opportunities to expand their horizons.

“Often, it’s easy to become siloed and only deal with the customers we have and the vendors we work with. This is a chance to gather with others around the community.”

An Exciting 2019 for Bismarck-Mandan

This year’s Holiday Mixer was the first that’s been hosted since the Chamber of Commerce and the Bismarck Development Association merged into the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber EDC in early 2019.

Brian says the Holiday Mixer was a fun way to celebrate the first year of the new partnership.

“There’s almost a full year under our belt, and it really has been a great year for the organization,” Brian says. “We’ve seen great support from members, increased attendance at events, great successes with business advocacy and economic development.”

But the bottom line, according to Brian, is that the community can’t do any of these things without the support of members like Eide CDJR.

Jesse Peterson, President and General Manager of Eide CDJR flips all the credit back to the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber EDC.

“Eide has been a part of the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber EDC for well over thirty years,” Jesse says. “The Bismarck-Mandan Chamber EDC plays a very important role in creating more economic opportunities for our community. They help foster the development of new businesses while helping established businesses grow. It's important for Eide to support these events because it helps Bismarck-Mandan in many ways that can not be counted."
