One of the big contributors to our early success serving the Bismarck community at Eide Chrysler was bringing some of the previous store's top talent on board. Jeremy Johnson, our top salesman in February, is an excellent example of that.
Johnson has been with Eide Chrysler since our recent opening, but he's been selling cars for 10 years.
"Jeremy sold 25 cars last month, so regardless of where you're located, that's a heck of a month," said General Sales Manager Jesse Schuchard.
No stranger to top sales accolades, Jeremy had been salesman of the year four times before Eide took over. But he said last month still stands out.
"It was exciting," Jeremy said. "It was nice to get back on top, and do it working for such a good company."
Johnson operates with a straightforward approach to sales.
"For me it's about being myself," he said. "Have fun, be yourself, and take care of people and they'll come back."
Schuchard said Jeremy excels at always taking care of customer needs.
"He's consistently one of our top guys. I appreciate all his effort," Schuchard said. "He makes my job a lot easier."
That last part is a sentiment Johnson shares.
"The big thing for me about becoming an Eide dealership was the management transformation," Jeremy said. "What I've liked about them is their consistency. I have a ton of respect for how they do things, and the process they've laid out."
Why is Eide Chrysler different from other Bismarck dealerships?
Jeremy: How they run everything is just starkly different. They focus on saving people's time, on being hassle free, and on giving a fair price.
How do you spend your free time?
Jeremy: My free time is hanging out with my family, and helping my boys with whatever sports they're into at the time.
Who would you like to thank for this award?
Jeremy: For me, it's the front and back house for our dealerships. And customers, obviously! Plus my family for helping me maintain what I do at the dealership - they make me a better guy, which makes me better at helping people.
