Community business members gathered to celebrate another successful year at the 2020 Bismarck-Mandan Chamber EDC Dinner, sponsored by Eide Chrysler and Eide Ford on January 23rd.

Attendees anticipate this elegant and fun evening each year, where we come together to celebrate our community, networktogether, and share a few laughs. This year, more than 800 community business members attended the event.

This is the best business gathering of the year in Bismarck-Mandan,” says Brian Ritter, President of the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber EDC. “I can’t think of another event specific to the business community where we bring together this many business leaders and community members.”

In addition to hosting more than 100 tables of Bismarck-Mandan community members, the Annual Chamber Dinner also brings community, state, and international leaders to Bismarck.

This year, attendees included North Dakota Congressman Kelly Armstrong, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, and a Canadian Consulate General, who encourages trade between Canada and the upper Midwest.

From Samuel Adams… to Bismarck!

Brian says the highlight of the 2020 event was the keynote speaker, Rhonda Kallman. Kallman is the co-founder of one of the most successful craft breweries in the world, the Boston Beer Company, and currently is starting a new whiskey distillery in Boston.

“She co-founded the company that created Samuel Adams, and now she’s back at a start-up,” Brian says. “It was incredible to hear her entrepreneurial journey.”

We’re Thankful for the Chamber EDC

The Bismarck-Mandan Chamber EDC is an important organization in our community, and its 1,300 members are what keep Bismarck thriving!

Businesses that are members of the Chamber EDC play a large role in workforce development efforts or contributions to the legislative agenda, where the Chamber lobbies for businesses at the state capitol.

The Chamber EDC calendar is packed full of events for professional development, networking, and community fun. See what’s coming up next and don’t miss out!

We Love Supporting Bismarck

Brian adds that without supporters like the Eide family, events like the Annual Chamber Dinner wouldn’t be possible.

“Without our sponsors, it does not happen.” Brian says. “We can only do so much as a staff and as a board.”

This community really is special, and that’s why Eide Chrysler and Eide Ford always strive to be involved in local events. Plus, when we’re out and about in Bismarck, we get to know our customers even better!

“I feel lucky to live here,” says Jesse Peterson, President of Eide Chrysler. “Business is my passion, and I believe that businesses should always be giving back to their community.”

Next up, you can find Eide at the Chamber Golf Scramble on June 15 at the Hawktree Golf Course. Until then, browse our new vehicle specials here in Bismarck!
